Maintenance Technician III – Multifamily Apartments

The Liberty Group is actively hiring two experienced Maintenance Technician III professionals for multifamily apartment communities in Lexington and Lincoln, Massachusetts!

We're looking for skilled, dependable maintenance technicians who can confidently handle apartment repairs, troubleshoot maintenance issues, and help keep residential communities operating smoothly.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and complete plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

  • Perform general maintenance and preventative maintenance throughout the community.

  • Complete apartment turnovers, including repairs, painting, and unit preparation.

  • Respond to resident work orders efficiently and professionally.

  • Troubleshoot maintenance issues independently and determine appropriate repairs.

  • Maintain safe, clean, and organized work areas.

  • Work closely with onsite property management and maintenance teams.

Qualifications:

  • Previous multifamily or apartment maintenance experience strongly preferred.

  • Strong hands-on troubleshooting and repair skills.

  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems.

  • Ability to complete maintenance tasks independently with minimal supervision.

  • Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

  • Professional communication and strong customer service skills.

  • HVAC/EPA certifications are a plus.
