Apartment Maintenance Technician – Lowell / Lawrence, MA
The Liberty Group is immediately hiring experienced Apartment Maintenance Technicians for multifamily communities in the Lowell and Lawrence areas.
This is a great opportunity for maintenance professionals who take pride in their work and want a stable, long-term role in residential property maintenance.
Pay: $24–$26/hour (based on experience)
What You Will Do
- Respond to and complete resident maintenance service requests
- Prepare vacant apartments for move-in including turns and punch work
- Perform general maintenance including plumbing, electrical, drywall, appliance repair, and troubleshooting
- Maintain cleanliness and upkeep of grounds and common areas
- Document completed work in maintenance logs and work order systems
- Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months onsite apartment maintenance experience or equivalent hands-on property maintenance experience
- Must have own vehicle and clean driving record required
- Must have reliable transportation to travel between nearby sites as needed
- Basic knowledge of general maintenance, repairs, and hand/power tools
- Must have own tools required for the role
- Ability to work independently and as part of a maintenance team
Preferred Experience
- Apartment community maintenance or property management maintenance
- Hotel maintenance or facilities background
- Construction, carpentry, or rehab experience with tenant-facing work
