The Liberty Group is hiring Firewatch Technicians to help keep job sites safe by spotting fire hazards, preventing ignition, and responding fast in emergencies.
Pay ranges from $20 to $21 per hour, depending on experience.

- Valid government-issued ID
- Reliable transportation
- Will submit to a background check
- Able to safely lift 60 lbs
- Willing/able to use fire extinguishers and respond immediately if a fire starts
- (If applicable) Must have a vehicle and be able to remain on-site the full shift
What you’ll do:
- Monitor work areas for fire hazards during hot work and after-hours
- Follow safety permit requirements
- Keep flammables away from ignition sources
- Maintain constant communication and visual watch of the area
- Inspect for flammable vapors/liquids before and during shift
- Operate extinguishers, hydrants, monitors, and hose carts as needed
- If fire occurs: extinguish immediately if safe and/or activate alarm; call 911/emergency number
- Confirm area is clear of sparks/embers before leaving; return equipment to proper location
