Certified Maintenance Technician (CMT) – Apartment Community

The Liberty Group is immediately hiring an experienced Certified Maintenance Technician (CMT) for an apartment / multifamily community.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete maintenance service requests/work orders promptly and professionally
- Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliances, drywall/paint, and carpentry as needed
- Complete make-readies/turns to meet move-in deadlines
- Perform preventative maintenance and assist with routine inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe work area; follow safety standards and policies
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with residents and onsite staff
- Participate in an on-call rotation as required by the property
Required Qualifications
- Apartment / multifamily maintenance experience required
- EPA certification and/or HVAC certification required (per property requirements)
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance (electrical, plumbing, HVAC basics, carpentry, appliance repair)
- Valid I.D. required
- Reliable transportation
Preferred Experience (Plus)
- Luxury properties, lease-ups, rehab/renovation communities
- Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience
