About the Company:
A scaled, growth-oriented multifamily platform with a strong track record of expanding through new client wins and acquisitions. The portfolio is primarily conventional and heavily weighted toward stabilized, garden-style Class A/B communities (they largely exited the lease-up space a few years ago). As the business continues to grow, leadership is investing in the right operational layers and infrastructure to support both field execution and long-term client relationships.
About the Position:
This is a senior operations leadership role based at the corporate hub, responsible for a large regional book of business across multiple markets. The leader will:
- Lead a team of regional managers and key support staff
- Own both operational performance and client relationship management for the region
- Step in quickly, assess the current state, and help scale the organization intentionally—balancing support, adding layers, and strengthening infrastructure as the platform grows
- Work in a primarily in-office hybrid structure (most days in office with limited remote flexibility) with light, periodic travel to outlying markets
Why this Opportunity:
A high-impact VP seat for a proven operator who wants real scope, visibility, and momentum—without walking into a mess.
- Well-timed transition: The current leader is still in the seat, allowing for a structured handoff and a thoughtful ramp.
- Meaningful scale + influence: This role touches a large portfolio and a strong field leadership team, with direct impact on performance and consistency across markets.
- Client-facing leadership: Ideal for someone who thrives in an environment where senior operations leaders are also true partners to clients—relationship-driven, consultative, and credible.
- Growth platform: The organization is actively building for the next chapter—perfect for a high-performing regional leader who’s outgrown their current box and wants room to contribute at a higher level.
- Collaborative leadership team: Success is built around partnership with peer leaders—aligned, team-first, and focused on leveraging strengths across the organization.
