About the Company: The company is a national commercial real estate owner that has specialized assets in the Western US. They are very well capitalized and have been profitable even in the market over the last couple of years. They have a team culture and we have placed a lot of the team members in various markets. They hold their asset for the long term. This is a retained search.
About the Position: This is a Senior Executive or C-Suite level position that will base in Southern CA. The person will supervise 5 to 7 VP/Directors in property management, asset management and operations as well as another department in the company. The company does not need someone to come in and fix or change things. They need a people person that is a nice leader who had done commercial real estate leadership in their current role. Most of the people we are speaking with are making base salaries in the $250k to $350k base range and then bonus. This is an opportunity to make a difference and with exciting growth potential for the right individual.
Why this Opportunity: This is part of succession planning. The CEO is retiring and they are promoting someone internally to that role and then this person will work with that individual to run the company.
