The Liberty Group was founded in 1977 as a national executive search firm serving the Houston multifamily and commercial real estate (CRE) markets. The firm quickly expanded to become a national leader for commercial and industrial real estate as well as construction and development talent.
In 1990, The Liberty Group started providing temporary staffing services for its Houston clients, focusing on multifamily housing (apartments) industry. As demand exploded, the firm steadily expanded its scope to provide temp and temp-to-perm staffing services in office/professional support.
Due to customer demand, in 1995 Liberty Screening Services opened to perform pre-employment screening, drug testing, background checks, and more. The addition of Liberty Screening made The Liberty Group a true one stop shop for finding that perfect employee.
In the 2000s, Liberty diversified to serve additional markets, including the finance/accounting and IT industries. Liberty also began offering contract employment services, giving companies a flexible way to add high-quality experts to their teams on a short term or long term basis.
Today, The Liberty Group has expanded throughout Texas, with branch offices to better serve temp clients and candidates in Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin, and San Antonio. The company continues to grow with branch offices in Raleigh and Charlotte, North Carolina, Orlando, Florida, Tampa, The Woodlands and Washington DC.
